Greece Euro 2012
It is unlikely Greece will repeat their victorious performance of Euro 2004 with their current form. The lowest scoring qualifiers for Euro 2012 with 14 goals from the ten qualifying matches. In an unexpected move they have recently recalled Angelos Charisteas who scored the winning goal for them in 2004, although still an outstanding player Angelos is nearing his mid thirties and many thought his Euro Championship days were over.
Star Players
Although currently injured after suffering cruciate ligament damage in September 2011, Sotiris Ninis is a very strong attacking midfielder. Kyriakos Papadopoulos is another to watch after scoring important goals against Latvia and Malta.
