Germany Euro 2012
As everyone knows, Germany are a strong team who are known for their set piece goals and strength in the air. Looking at the current team you can see they have a young squad who are all known around the world as very talented players. They had a lot of disappointment in the Euro 2008 championships after reaching the final and losing to Spain 1-0. However they have a good history with the tournament, reaching 6 finals and winning three of them (1972, 1980, 1996) so they are more than capable of adding another trophy to their previous honors.
Star Players
With players like Lukas Poldolski, Thomas Muller and Toni Kroos in midfield we know they will be a side to reckon with from the start, other players such as Mario Gomez upfront will be a massive help to their strike force too. Captain Philip Lahm will head the defence and possibly lead Germany to victory. They are one of the bookies favourites at 7/2 odds with only Spain having higher odds than them to win.
